Richmond Council will be sponsoring the New Start-Up Award at this year’s Richmond Business Awards at the RFU 16th November – recognising the best new business start-ups in the borough.
The Richmond Business Awards is run by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce and The Richmond and Twickenham Times.
The Awards recognise the best businesses in the borough, ranging from the independents to the multinationals and charities. It celebrates innovation, achievement and entrepreneurial spirit within the local business community.
A glittering event on the evening of 16th November with both MP’s Zac Goldsmith and Dr Vince Cable MP will shine a spotlight on the people who drive our local economy and make Richmond upon Thames one of the best places in the country to do business.
The Council will be sponsoring the ‘Best New Start-Up’ Award, recognising all aspiring entrepreneurs who are taking their first steps to starting a business.
Cllr Geoff Acton, Richmond Council Cabinet Member for Business, Economy and Employment, said:
