Air Social Nominated for UK Agency Awards
The UK Agency Awards celebrate the most exceptional agencies, campaigns and talent within the fields of creative, design, digital, marketing, advertising, media and public relations across the UK.
Air Social, a boutique digital marketing agency based on Guildford High Street, has made the UK Agency Awards Finals 2018. They are competing against agencies representing top global brands, including The Body Shop, Getty Images, Superdry and Oxfam.
Air Social is shortlisted this year in the Best Social Media Campaign category for its #IGOTSKILLS campaign, which was designed on behalf of local estate agents, Seymours, to boost its online community engagement.
Recognising the popularity of television shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and the sense of positive communal spirit they evoke, Air Social’s custom-made campaign challenged the online community to post an online video of themselves showing off their hidden talents, however absurd. The author of the video that attracted the most engagement was given £2,000 for their chosen charity.
Over the course of the campaign, which ran for eight weeks, the #IGOTSKILLS videos appeared in 1 million newsfeeds and, collectively, were viewed 397,453 times.
Air Social Managing Director Alex Vinall says,

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner and awards ceremony on Thursday, September 13 at the prestigious Montcalm Marble Arch, London.
